How to create a team for Fantasy Cricket on Dream11:
There are different aspects that one needs to factor in while creating a fantasy cricket team on Dream11. Users need to create a team comprising 11 players within 100 credits. One can select a maximum of 7 seven players from one team. The knowledge of matchups, pitch, playing conditions also plays an important role in creating a team.

Select the game you wish to join the contest for and make a dream team.
Step 3:
Using the 100 credits available to you for every game, you can go ahead and create a team.
Step 4:
You can create a team of 11 comprising different specialties: Wicketkeeper, Batsmen, All-rounders, and Bowlers
Step 5:
You can select a maximum of 7 players from one team.
Step 6:
Select your Captain and Vice-Captain wisely as they will fetch you the highest points.
Captain will fetch 2x and Vice-Captain will fetch 1.5X points respectively
Step 7:
And you're all set!
Make sure you submit the team before the match starts, as you won't be able to change/edit the team after this.
Player combination rules for Fantasy Cricket on Dream11:
A user has to abide by certain rules while creating a team. It involves having the four major categories of players in a team. Each category has a different set of player criteria that a user needs to adhere to.
Wicket-Keeper (WK):
One has to select a minimum of 1 wicket-keeper and a maximum of 8 wicket-keepers from both teams.
Batsman (BAT):
While picking players from the batsmen category, one has to pick a minimum of 1 batsmen and a maximum of 8 batsmen.
All-Rounder (AR):
All-rounders are the most vital cogs of any cricket team. While picking a fantasy cricket team, one has to select a minimum of 1 all-rounder and a maximum of 8.
Bowler (BWL):
In a fantasy cricket game, one has to pick a minimum of 1 bowlers and a maximum of 8.
Captain and Vice-Captain Points:
Once you select your playing XI for any particular game, you are then required to appoint a captain (C) and a vice-captain (VC). The player you select as captain will fetch you 2x the number of points as a normal player would. Similarly, a player selected as vice-captain will fetch you a 1.5x number of points. The player you choose as captain and vice-captain at times may end up deciding the contest. You must make a well-informed decision while selecting them.
Post the completion of all these factors, and you can save your team. Post saving your team. You can join multiple contests.
How to edit or change my Fantasy Team?
It is pretty easy to make edits to your initially saved team. One has to head to the ‘My Matches’ section and select the game you want to edit under ‘Upcoming Contests.’ In that section, click on ‘My teams,’ the option available to you on the right side. Click on the pencil icon on the team you wish to edit. Post making the edits, save the changes, and your team is ready.
Note: One can edit one’s team as many times as one wishes to before the match’s deadline. Once the game starts, one can’t edit the team.
How many teams can I create for a single match?
You can create up to 20 different teams for a single match! Not just that, you can join contests with more than 10,000 spots. Depending on the size of the contest, you can enroll your teams accordingly.
You can enter a single team for a 1-10 contest size.
A contest size featuring 11-100 spots, you can enter 6 teams.
For a contest featuring 101-9,999 spots, you can enter up to 11 teams.
In a contest that has more than 10,000 spots, you can enter up to 20 different teams!

Batters who score a century in T10 are not awarded any extra points.
In the event of an overthrow, the batsman on strike gets credited with the points.However, no boundary bonus is credited if the overthrow results in a boundary.

Fielding Points:
Catch: +8
3 catch bonus: +4

Note:
Points for a direct hit are awarded to a single fielder who causes the run-out.
Apart from the direct hit, 2 players who made the last touch with the ball are awarded points.
Players who take 3 or more than 3 catches will also fetch just the 4 points as per the 3 Catch Bonus rule.

Once the match begins, you can view your points in real-time on the ‘My Matches’ dashboard.Click on the match to view the points you have scored. The points are updated after every ball is bowled.
A user can create a fantasy cricket team right until the match begins under normal circumstances. The match officials specify the timings.
In certain special scenarios, Dream11 reserves the right to adjust the deadline.
It may do so by extending the deadline (maximum of 10 minutes) or (3 overs bowled), whichever is less, before the official match start time.
