History of Adelaide Strikers
The Adelaide Strikers first originated in the year 2011, when the big bash league was introduced. It is an Australian professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team based in Adelaide, Australia. When the BBL was initially formed, every team had the opportunity to choose players and build their team from scratch.

The window to fill in the seats opened on 30 June 2011 at 9:00 in the morning, and it closed on 22 July 2011. Every team competing in the big bash league was allowed to take only 18 players, including two players from overseas. The first-ever captain of Adelaide Strikers was the South Australia captain, Micheal Klinger, whereas the team was coached under Darren Berry, the coach of Southern Redbacks.
In the year 2016-2017, Adelaide Strikers was rated as the “Most entertaining team” in the BBL.

Out of the eight teams competing in the BBL 2022, Adelaide Strikers, the time-two winner, is one of the strongest teams. However, after immense practice and trials, Adelaide Strikers lost the BBL 2021-2022 and were Knocked out in the Challenger against Sixers. Although it made its position in the top five list, which made their fans feel proud, the result was in favour of the Sixers.
