  • If any runs are scored on an overthrow, points for those runs will be credited to the batter on strike for that ball. However, if the overthrow goes for a boundary, the batter will not receive extra Boundary Bonus points.

Other Important Points
  • Rules about substitutes:
    • The announced Concussion, COVID-19, X-Factor or Impact Player substitutes will get 0 points for being announced. Out of the announced substitutes, ONLY those that will play will be awarded 4 points in addition to the points for all the contributions they make as per the Fantasy Point System.
    • Substitutes apart from Concussion, COVID-19, X-Factor or Impact Player substitutes will not be awarded points for any contribution they make.
    • If a player gets replaced by an X-Factor or Impact Player substitute, but later comes back on field, they will get points for their contributions. However, if a player, who was not a part of the announced lineups, comes to the field as a substitute, they will not get points for any of their contributions (except Concussion, COVID-19, X-Factor and Impact Player substitutes).
  • If a player is announced in the starting eleven of a team but later is unable to start the match, he/she will not score any points. The player who plays as the replacement, however, will earn points for the match (including starting points).
  • No points will be awarded for any actions during a Super Over or a Super Five.
  • Rules about Transfers: The match abandoned rules for Manager Mode are different from that of Daily Fantasy. Here are the scenarios for your understanding:
    • Case 1: If a match is marked as abandoned before it begins, then the transfers and boosters used in that round will not be counted until the next match’s transfer window closes. In case 1, if you continue to make transfers and use boosters after the match has been abandoned then based on the net transfer principle, the changes will be considered from the last completed match only.
    • Case 2: If a match is declared abandoned after it begins, then those transfers and boosters will still continue to count and will be deducted from your transfer and booster balance. Points that are accumulated after the transfer window has closed, will also count.
  • Applying current team to upcoming matches:
    • Your team applies consecutively across all upcoming matches. You can return between matches to make changes to your team. If a match is abandoned, your team will carry forward to the next upcoming match after the abandoned one. Similarly, if the order of a match changes, your team will apply to whichever match is upcoming unless you change it before that match’s start time.
      • Example: If IND vs PAK is scheduled at 8 PM and AUS vs ENG is scheduled at 10 PM, but IND vs PAK gets rescheduled to 11 PM due to delays, your last saved team will apply to the AUS vs ENG match if not changed between 8 PM and 10 PM.
  • Matches with the same start time or when timings get interchanged:
    • In Manager Mode, no two matches can have the exact same start time due to technical reasons. If a match is rescheduled to a time that exactly coincides with another match, the second match will be moved by 15 minutes to keep them sequential. Despite the extension, no users will be allowed to make team changes during these additional 15 minutes, as the transfer window will be closed for both matches.
    • Further to the above, if the first match is then set to start well beyond the second match, the start time of the second match will be reset to the original time and no edits will be permitted to the team after the second match begins. Teams can be edited for the subsequent match after 20 mins of start of the match.
  • Differences in the fantasy points system for Manager Mode as compared to Daily Fantasy:
    • Instead of getting bonus points for 25 runs and 75 runs, bonus points will be awarded for 30 runs.
    • No points will be awarded for dot balls in Manager Mode.
    • In Manager Mode, users get 25 points for any wicket taken.
